The Humane Society of Broward County's mission is to advocate for and improve the lives of animals by providing adoptions, community services and education.  The shelter has been part of the community since 1944 and has one location on Griffin Road,  The HSBC offers pet adoptions, educational presentations, birthday parties, summer camps, a vaccine clinic, and more.  It is not part of any local or national group with a similar name.
